Helping Families Stay Healthy

Welcome to our  St. George Utah Chiropractic Clinic!

Both children and adults can benefit from ongoing chiropractic care. In the chiropractic world, keeping the vertebral subluxation fixed and preventing its reoccurrence is just as important as the initial remedy.

What truly differentiates doctors of chiropractic from any other healthcare professionals is the fact that chiropractors are the only professionals who are trained to diagnose and treat what are called a vertebral subluxation.

When a vertebral subluxation complex occurs, a chiropractor can correct the misaligned joint and allow it to return to its proper position. This procedure is appropriately called an adjustment and/or manipulation, and the adjustment enables the body to heal.

What Is Chiropractic?

The chiropractic adjustment is a quick thrust applied to a vertebra for the purpose of correcting its position, movement or both.  Adjustments are often accompanied by an audible release of gas that sounds like a “crack.”

The sound sometimes shocks people a little bit the first couple times they get adjusted, but the sensation is usually relieving.  Occasionally, minor discomfort is experienced, especially if the surrounding muscles are in spasm or the patient tenses up during the chiropractic procedure.

There are times when the audible “cracking” does not occur. This is often due to either significant muscle tightness or that the patient may be having a hard time relaxing during their adjustments.  However, the chiropractic adjustment is still important.  The leak is fixed. The wiring is fixed. Information is flowing again.

To keep the wiring fixed, several adjustments over a course of time may be necessary, in addition to massage, physical therapy, stretching exercises, or strengthening exercises.

In the chiropractic world, keeping the problem fixed and preventing its reoccurrence is just as important as the initial remedy.

Testimonials

Miracle Worker! I was referred to Dr. Hardy by one of my friends who has been seeing him for decades! I drove all the way down to Utah from California because I’ve lost hope that I might recover from a slip and fall injury.

My local quack that i was assigned through my attorney did not want to listen to me and the treatments that i have been receiving 3 times per week did not improve anything until I met Dr. Hardy who knows the best!

In just 1 treatment, I felt significant relieve! His knowledge of the body and movement, the inter-twined nature of healing, and how to live a healthy life are only surpassed by his wonderful smile and spirit.

I first visited Dr. Brian Hardy 15 years ago. I had a severe neck injury. I had other doctors treat my neck pain however with the pain continued to return. I didn’t expect that just one treatment from Dr. Hardy would provide me with a permanent healing. But that is what happened!

So during the past 15 years I’ve had my mom, sister, aunty and children see Dr. Brian Hardy for a variety of issues from chiropractic to acupuncture to homeopathy, and they have all been completely satisfied with his treatment and professional care.

I don’t usually do reviews but I would definitely recommend Dr. Brian Hardy to any of my friends. Thumbs up and 10 stars!”

“My friends referred Dr. Hardy to me. Dr. Hardy treated me for back, neck and wrist pain. I got relief from this pain immediately.

Dr. Hardy’s bedside manner and his willingness to try different things impressed me. The massage and chiropractic as well as acupuncture were most effective for my problems.

I would recommend Dr. Hardy to all of my friends and family.”
